It’s like becoming your own NFL General Manager with no restrictions or position limits – just pure strategy and unlimited possibilities!
Start with $1,000 Portfolio cash (eDollars) and buy whatever players and teams (assets) you’d like! Players and teams fluctuate in value based on their real on-field statistics, so the more successful your picks, the more money you make.
Forget head-to-head matchups—this is all about maximizing your portfolio. Whether you’re buying a backup player at a bargain price or selling a star player at their peak, the possibilities are endless. Whomever has the highest-value portfolio at the end of the season is the League Champion!

Pre-Season: Before September 5th, 2024
During preseason, you’ll be allocated $1,000 of eDollars. Similar to an NFL General Manager, you’ll use these eDollars to buy and manage your dream fantasy team portfolio.
Using your $1,000 eDollars, you have the freedom to purchase any player or team you want! This unique format sets Extreme Exchange apart from other platforms: you don’t have to worry about other team owners taking your ideal player or team. All NFL players and teams are eligible for purchase, except for Offensive Linemen, individual Defensive players, and Kickers.
You can also buy any number of teams and players in each position. There are no requirements for any particular number of players/teams. You can even have a team of all Quarterbacks if you’d like!
The Starting Player/Team Market Value (price) assigned are based on their 2023 regular season statistics. The lowest starting value for a player/team is $20. The average player/team value is approximately $100. The highest starting market value for players/teams is Christian McCaffrey at $207.90. Incoming rookies’ starting market value is based on their draft round:
1st Round Pick: $125
2nd – 3rd Round Pick: $100
4th – 7th Round Pick: $75

If you purchase Christian McCaffrey, you’ll have the best player/team in the League, but he also requires you to spend over 20% of your eDollars for your Portfolio. Leaving less room for other players/teams. This adds to the strategic play of ExtremeExchange. See the graphic above for two examples of how you could allocate your $1,000 eDollars.
You cannot have more than one of any player/team simultaneously, but you can own the same player/team multiple times during the season.
For instance, you cannot have Christian McCaffrey twice on your roster at the same time, but you can sell him and later decide to buy him back.
Regular Season: Weeks 1-18
Throughout the NFL 18-week season, you will compete against all teams in the league to have the highest Portfolio Value by the end of week 18. Manage your Portfolio Value weekly, by buying and selling players and teams at your discretion.
Your Portfolio Value combines your cash-on-hand with the total market value of all players and teams you currently own.
Player and team Market Values (prices) fluctuate during the season, based on their real on-field performances. With the lowest price for any player/team set at $10 and the average value of players/teams at approximately $100.
Don’t forget to select the player/team before the start of their game. Once their game begins, selections are locked-in until that game ends.
Enjoy unlimited transactions, allowing you to fine-tune your roster for optimal performance. But! You are not required to make any transactions all season. You could simply “set it and forget it”! Spend as much or as little time as you’d like.
The team with the highest Portfolio Value at the end of week 18 will become the League Champion. There are no Playoffs for the Extreme Exchange format. Prize money (payouts) are awarded to the top 4 teams based on ranking. The League Champion will also receive a physical trophy!
